There is finally a private way to keep track of all of the things connected with your sewing room or sewing area (since many of us still sew in the dining room or on the kitchen table). I am a relatively new quilter that didn’t really get to start learning to quilt until about 6 years ago. I have always had a love affair with fabric but that was in the world of women's fashions.
I went into the West Virginia Quilt company and saw a quilt hanging on display. I was so impressed by what I saw that I asked if anybody ever gave classes to teach how to make quilts. I was told, as a matter of fact, they were going to be having a class the next week teaching how to make the quilt that had caught my eye. I asked how should I pick out the fabrics and sign me up. The quilt I was taught to make was “The Heart Bargello” It just so happened when I finished it some 9 months later I entered it in the county fair and won a first place blue ribbon. A couple months later, I entered it in a festival at Morehead Kentucky and won People’s Choice. Those 2 things made me think, yes I can quilt.
Well, after that, my life became quite full of classes, quilds, camps, row-by-rows, shop hops, retreats, festivals and shows. I am sure you can guess what happened. My STASH grew, my projects grew, my equipment and tools grew, my UFO’s grew and I was lost. My newfound art had out grown my ability to keep up with it. Alas, "The Vault" was born. Let me share some of the things "The Vault" can do for you.
